Swamp Cooler Repair El Paso and saving you money.
Our SoBellas Home Services swamp cooler repair team in El Paso really wants to know, “Are you ready to save some money?” If you are ready, we happen to know of a superior deal that you may be quite interested in. It’s a $300 to $700 evaporative cooling system rebate being offered by SoBellas Home Services but supplies are very limited. Therefore, we wouldn’t recommend waiting until the first hot day arrives to jump on to this offer. Our team can help you select the right swamp cooler for your home, install it and provide assistance with the rebate.
There are many swamp cooler manufacturers’ products included in the rebate program. So, we’ve taken the liberty of listing a few below. And by the way, they’re all brands our swamp cooler repair team is familiar with:
- Phoenix Manufacturing, Inc.’s AeroCool Trophy Series
- Essick Air’s Champion Ultracool
- Seeley International’s Breezair Series
- Impco LLC’s Ducted Symphony Premium
They’re all great swamp coolers. Many of them feature bolted construction, one-piece drip pans, galvanized steel cabinets and polyester powder-coatings, which help reduce corrosion. They also tend to run quietly and use less energy than other brands of evaporative coolers. And in case you’re curious, side and down discharge options are often part of the deal too.
How would you like to receive anywhere from a $25 to $75 VISA gift card on top of that $300 to $700 evaporative cooling system rebate? It’s easy enough to qualify for one. Simply take advantage of SoBellas Home Services Referral Program in El Paso and encourage your loved ones to jump on to the rebate deal too. That way, everyone in your inner circle can save a good deal of money now and throughout the cooling season.

Central AC Repair El Paso
Today, our central AC repair El Paso team wanted to remind everyone that the energy conservation standards governing central air conditioning systems and heat pumps are changing. As a matter of fact, the U.S. Department of Energy put the revised standards in effect as of the first of the month for new systems. On top of that, there are additional standards now in place for people who live in Texas and New Mexico. Therefore, it’s a good idea for property owners to take a look at their heat pumps and central AC ratings now.
The new energy efficiency ratios (EER) and average off-mode power (PW-Off) consumption ratings vary based on the type of residential system too. As such, it is very important to be precise. However, for the purpose of this blog post, our central AC repair team has compiled some general rating information for those that are interested. For the most part, split-rate systems should have an annual EER that falls in the 11.7 to 12.2 range and a seasonal one of 14 or better. Their PW-Off rating, on the other hand, should be in the 30 to 33 range. Single, small duct, high velocity and space constrained systems all have ratings that are similar in scope.
Unfortunately, there does not appear to be any Federal tax credits available at this time for residents that upgrade their central air conditioners or heat pumps to meet the new standards. Of course that could all change once the 114th U.S. Congress gets to work on passing energy and tax specific legislation. Rebates on heating and cooling products that make the new grade are usually a possibility, depending on the brand and the season. To learn more about the government’s new, central air conditioning and heat pump related standards, please contact us in El Paso today. We’d be happy to figure out what rating your system currently has and what the costs of upgrading it to meet the new guidelines may be in the future.
